2010 Nashwauk Wrecked Shiraz
Fruit was selected from three separate blocks on the Nashwauk property, vine age 20 and 40 year old. These three blocks have been selected to make this reserve Shiraz since 2006.
These 3 blocks represent some of the finest Shiraz parcels on the Nashwauk property and more importantly have been chosen to blend together to make a wine that is designed to reward with cellaring over the next 10 years +.
Dark black fruits, coffee and some cloves.
Concentrated blueberry, blackberry and plum with a twist of spice to help define and accentuate the fruit. Silky tannins and sweet fruit complete a sumptuous palate.
Following detailed selection and blending the wine was matured in two & three year old French oak barrels for 24 months.
